On May 18 and 19, 2018, the Institute of Training of Trainers for clerical and monastic life at the Faculty of Theology and Pastoral Studies at Antonine University, organized a series of conferences entitled “Human Formation: the emotional and sexual dimension” under the High Patronage of His Eminence the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al Rai represented by Bishop Rafic Al Warsha.
In the presence of numerous spiritual and religious figures, keynote speaker Rev. Father Amadeo Cencini, Professor of pastoral theology at the Pontifical Salesian University gave four conferences, during which, the renowned guest discussed the importance of initial and integral preparation of seminarians for the priesthood. He also conversed about the ongoing formation in consecrated life in the light of the Church’s sexual scandals and abuse crisis.
