Antonine University (UA) closed its 4th Season of Chamber Music with a concert held at St. Joseph's Church of the Jesuit Fathers in Monot, Achrafieh in the presence of many personalities including, Mr. Edoardo Crisafulli Cultural Attaché to the Embassy of Italy in Beirut, Dr. Walid Moussallem Director of the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music, Fr. Toufic Maatouk Secretary General of the UA and a host of social, cultural and media figures.
The evening closed with a program of multipe colours, by bringing together Hans Liviabella Second Principal Violin of the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, playing a Stradivarius (1708), a premiere in Lebanon; Daniela Cammarano Violinist of the Scala Orchestra of Milan; Andrea Maini Viola solo of the Rome Opera Orchestra; Sandro Laffranchini Principal Cello of the Milan Scala Orchestra and Fausto Di Benedetto on piano. The public was warmly delighted in listening to this spectacular group that combined both ardor and romance, being given a standing ovation to complete a dazzling evening. The 5th Season of Chamber Music will start in October 2018.
