The Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music and Antonine University (UA), in collaboration with the University of Notre-Dame of Louaizeh (NDU) and the Italian Cultural Institute, presented "Nozze Di Figaro" (The Marriage of Figaro), an opera in four acts of WA Mozart, created in 1786 in Vienna.
Directed by Fr. Toufic Maatouk, Secretary General and Director of the UA Choir, and staged by Roberto Catalano, this musical event brought together ten Lebanese and Italian soloists: Caterina di Tonno as Suzanna, Shadi Torbey as Figaro, Valentina Mastrangelo in the role of the Contesse D'Almaviva, Francesco Vultaggio in the role of the Count of Almaviva, Cesar Naassy (Bartolo), Mira Akiki (Barbarina), Giulia Mazzola (Cherubino), Sarah Tisba (Marcellina), Roger Abi Nader (Antonio), Charlie Eid (Basilio), Rani Ayrouth (Don Curzio) with the choirs of Antonine University, the Lebanese Conservatory of Music and University of Notre-Dame de Louaizeh.
