The dental technician profession is a constantly evolving field, and our department came to existence in view of making a difference in the field of dental laboratories. The profession of the dental technician turned into one requiring cutting-edge technology accompanied by a greater painstaking and dedicated expertise.
The Department of Dental Laboratory Technology boasts an excellent reputation both nationally and in the neighboring countries of the Middle East.
The graduate program reconciles both theoretical and practical aspects of the job. Our university education aims to train people capable of contributing positively to the cultural, social, and economic development of society as a whole, and quality graduates boasting a solid knowledge base which enables them to continue learning and to adapt to career transitions and changes throughout their lives.

The mission of the Department of Dental Laboratory Technology is to provide a high-level educational training program and to contribute to the development of dental knowledge and practices in a climate of dignity, respect and well-being. It promotes excellence and values professionalism, integrity, and social responsibility. The curriculum prepares students amidst a challenging intellectual environment and stimulates them to continuous learning to achieve national and international skill standards.
Infrastructure and Laboratories
The Department of Dental Laboratory Technology has four laboratory rooms equipped with the latest high-tech equipment for carrying out practical work and a laboratory for computer-aided technology, which was built in cooperation with the company Amann Ghirrbach.
All the laboratories are remarkably equipped to offer students a high quality implementation and practice field.
Our students benefit from a high standard healthy work environment, one that is well adapted to the requirements of their graduate training program. Regular improvements of the training areas and of the dental laboratories are systematically carried out.
