The Faculty of Information and Communication at the Antonine University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Michel Zaccour Foundation.
Mrs. Nadine Zaccour, member of the foundation, visited the faculty on September 23rd and offered two scholarships of $5,000 each bestowed to two students, Ms. Nathalie Issa and Mr. Ahmed Abdallah, undergoing their MA in Communication at UA. Students had to write research papers about Michel Zaccour, his thoughts and journey as a prominent figure of the Lebanese Independence.
Father Rector Michel Jalakh, Fr. Ziad Maatouk, Pr. Nidaa Abou Mrad along with the Dean of the Faculty Dr. Dalal Moukarzel and the Heads of Departments, all gathered around both students to listen to their first approach. Further discussions took place among those present to go further in the collaboration between the UA and Michel Zaccour Foundation, opening new opportunities for more students in the near future.
