First-year students enrolled at Antonine University took part in the "Breakfast with the President", held at UA stadium, at Hadat-Baabda main campus. Organized by the Office of the Registrar, the event allowed newcomers to meet, in an informal setting, with UA President, Deans, Directors, Faculty members and administrative Staff.

Fr. Michel Jalakh UA President welcomed the newly admitted students and encouraged them to "take full advantage of their university life, to build bonds and create beautiful memories". He urged them above all, to avoid transferring their differences and dissensions to the campus but, on the contrary, to distil within their own societies and communities, the "unifying spirit" of Antonine University which, he said, “brings together young academics from different religious groups, regions and ages”. Fr. Jalakh seized the opportunity to stress the importance of the "human and cultural dimension" at UA, inviting all new students to address the offices available at their disposal, in particular the Office of Relational Ecology.

The event, enlivened by the musical performance given by the group The EEs, continued in a laid-back atmosphere. After the broadcast of a video on UA accreditation by the AAQ, the participants were invited to form a human mosaic and shape the University logo. The new students received a cup in the colors of UA and were invited to sign the Signature Wall before they left.

The event was provided by a group of students from the Faculty of Engineering.
