    Antonine University had the honor to host a memorable concert on Tuesday November 27th, 2018 under the title “Songs and Fantasies in Europe in the XVIIth Century”.
    Jean-Francois GOUDESENNE, a Harpsichord specialist, charmed the audience with his performance. GOUDESENNE presented different musical pieces such as G. Frescobaldi’s “Toccata n.3a from the Libro Primo”, B. Storace’s “Variations on La Monica”, and G.B Platti’s “Sonata for cello and basso continuo n.2 in D minor”. He performed a medley from the “Fitzwilliam Virginal Book” as well.
    Jana Semaan, Director of the Center for Early Music at the university, performed along with GOUDESENNE, the final remarkable piece.
