Quality Assurance Coordinator

The Strategic Initiatives and Quality Assurance (ISAQ) Office at Antonine University is looking for a self-motivated QA Assistant who takes pride in providing exception quality of work and services to join the administrative team.
The scope of responsibilities covers the collaboration with academic teams to plan, capture and record the information requirements for accreditation and quality management activities. He / She will develop and maintain institution wide quality assurance data that aligns with the university strategic initiatives in conformity with the applied policies and procedures.

As QA Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing mechanisms for the collection, analysis and dissemination of quality improvement data.
  • Coordinating and facilitating the collection, processing, and reporting of data that leads to the enhancement of quality improvement processes.
  • Ensuring policy and procedures alignment with accreditation standards.
  • Developing and managing the Quality Improvement System in support of Accreditation and Strategic Planning.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of institution-wide academic quality assurance processes and accountability measures that are aligned with international best practice, and the UA strategic objectives.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities.
  • Assisting in the upkeep, research and development of various records, policies, procedures, reports and action plans, ensuring that actions are monitored continuously and addressed effectively.
  • Coordinating various committees and ensuring that relevant reference documents are made available to such committee meetings from time to time and implement action plans and schedules.

 

Basic

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. A Master’s is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is highly preferred.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Advanced Data collection, manipulation and reporting is a must;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Project management experience (planning, monitoring and reporting);

Audio-visual Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and organized Audio-visual Technician to join the Facilities and Maintenance team.

Position Summary
Manages the Audio-visual (A/V) store and equipment and ensure related preventive and corrective maintenance process. He / She sets up and operates media equipment (microphones, projectors, monitors, etc.) during events organized by the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC) and performs several post-production tasks: editing, montage and others, when requested.
The Technician is also responsible of the A/V material rental process to the A/V Department students and others potential user from UA’s units.

As an A/V Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, planning and organizing the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Audio-visual (AV) equipment and facilities.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of electronic and electrical appliances at the offices, classrooms and laboratories of the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC).
  • Coordinating with the Office of IT about the installations, running and updates of all the software and hardware related to FIC classrooms and Labs.
  • Managing the A/V equipment rental process to students
  • Preparing a yearly report about all the assets, enhancement plans and suggestions, technical deficiencies, arising problems.
  • Helping in A/V related projects managed by the University internal units : shooting, photography, lighting setup, editing and montage, when requested.
  • Performing any other related duties as assigned.

Basic

  • Bachelor degree - or TS - in A/V, Computer Sciences, or any related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education is a plus.

Administrative Assistant – Vice-rectorate for Integral Human Development (VRIHD)

The Vice-rectorate for Integral Human Development (VRIHD) at Antonine University is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and organized individual to join the administrative team.

Position Summary
Provides administrative support to the Vice-rectorate for Integral Human Development (VRIHD). He / She maintains the compliance with applied policies, processes and procedures. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact with the University students and other stakeholders and coordinates several activities and events organized by the VRIHD (workshops, seminars, students’ activities, etc.)

As an Administrative Assistant, you will responsible for

  • Providing support for managing the Vice-rectorate schedule/calendar, screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative problems and inquiries as appropriate;
  • Serving as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices,
    individuals, and other external stakeholders;
  • Coordinating the Vice-rectorate’s meetings, conferences, and events scheduling and coordinating dates and times, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities; taking minutes of meeting, if demanded, and providing administrative support and follow-up on matters arising from meetings;
  • Creating and maintains documentation and records; preparing many types of reports
    (statistical, etc.), letters and other written correspondence and materials;
  • Providing support to the Academic Success Service: coordination with the academic units, maintaining students schedule and following-up with the team advisors;
  • Managing the Student Volunteering program (communication with student, preparing
    respective schedule, following-up on the evaluation process);
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic

  • BA in Management, Social Science, Psychology, Public Relations, or related field. A Masters is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience directly related to the specified main duties and responsibilities. Experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
