Join us for a transformative day dedicated to one of our planet’s most vital resources — water!
As part of Antonine University’s (UA) ongoing commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 6: Clear Water and Sanitation, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at the Nabi Ayla–Zahle Campus, in collaboration with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL), is organizing an awareness day focused on water conservation and sustainable practices.
In response to the growing water scarcity affecting Lebanon, driven by climate change, mismanagement, and overconsumption, students will have the chance to visit vital water-related sites in the West Bekaa region, including the Wastewater Recycling Station, Sad Al Qaraoun, and the Power Plant. These field visits are designed to offer hands-on insights into sustainable water solutions and inspire long-term responsibility toward this shared resource.
