The United States (US) Embassy in Beirut has launched the MEPI Student Leaders Program 2025, a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students across the Middle East and North Africa. This program offers a transformative experience focused on leadership, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship.

Program Overview

The MEPI Student Leaders Program is a competitive initiative where selected students will:

• study at US universities;
• complete academic coursework;
• develop leadership and project management skills;
• gain insights into civil society and governance in the US and the Middle East.

Focus on Climate Change

For 2025, the program will center on climate change and environmental protection. As a participant, you will:

• engage in discussions and workshops on environmental issues;
• create civic engagement projects to address climate challenges in your local community.
