Master’s and Doctorate 2025–26
The Embassy of France in Lebanon is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Palestinian Scholarship Program. This initiative supports deserving Palestinian students residing in Lebanon who wish to pursue higher education in France at the Master’s and Doctorate levels.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Be a Palestinian national and resident in Lebanon.
- Age: Be 26 years old or younger.
- Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Admission Status: Be admitted or pre-admitted to a French university or higher education institution.
- Language Proficiency: Hold a language certificate:
- DELF B2 for studies in French;
- C1 Advanced Cambridge English or TOEFL ITP C1 for studies in English.
- Academic Project: Have a clear and well-developed academic project in line with your professional goals.
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated based on:
- Academic Performance: Good standing in undergraduate studies (fields favored include law, management, economics, science, technology, and health.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in French or English, depending on the study project (e.g., DELF or valid TCF).
- Project Coherence: Consistency between study and professional projects.
Scholarship Package
The scholarship includes:
- A monthly stipend allocated for 10 to 12 months.
- Waived visa fees.
- Status as a French government scholarship holder (includes insurance and a monthly allowance).
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Valid ID.
- Documentation proving contact with French higher education institutions or proof of application for a Master’s program in France.
- Academic transcripts for each year of study.
- Certificate of language proficiency.
- Resumé in French with an ID photo (maximum 2 pages).
- Description of the study and professional project in French (maximum 2 pages).
How to Apply
- Contact the French Universities: Reach out directly to French universities or higher education institutions via Campus France and apply as a potential French Government Scholar. It is advisable to contact multiple institutions to secure pre-registrations or admissions.
- Submit Your Application: Send your application and all required documents to beyrouth-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr and gwendoline.abou-jaoude@if-liban.com before March 31, 2025.
