Sapienza University of Rome has launched the Call for Proposals: Solidarity in Research and Education 2026 to fund Visiting Professors from countries at risk or facing economic or social crises.
The call supports joint research and/or teaching activities, as well as initiatives aimed at protecting scholars whose personal safety or research freedom may be at risk.

Eligibility
Visiting Professors invited by the proposers must be teachers, researchers, or experts with proven scientific qualifications affiliated with Antonine University (UA), an institution, or a research body based in one of the MAECI priority countries indicated in the call.

Program Duration
90 consecutive days (shorter stays are not permitted)
