We are proud to announce that Stéphanie Challita, an UA alumnus who graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in 2015, earned a scholarship of 15 000 euros from L’Oréal-UNESCO.

The ceremony was held on October 8, 2018, at the “Palais de la Découverte” where more than 20 PhD holders were honored.

L’Oréal-UNESCO acknowledges each year different and new women researchers in order to encourage them to develop their scientific explorations and studies.

Stéphanie Challita defended her thesis entitled “Clarifier le langage des nuages informatiques” at the end of the year 2018 at the University of Lille.

Another of our alumni stood out with his accomplishments. Anthony Abi Rached was indeed named valedictorian of his class at the French engineering school École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Matériaux-Développement durable et en Informatique-Électronique (ESIREM).

In 2016, he earned the “Eiffel” scholarship of excellence, a two-year scholarship awarded to brilliant students who have an exceptional level and outstanding grades.
