Time Capsule

Students will be given a time capsule to deposit cherished objects they wish to bring on the rehearsal day, as they will be wrapped with their names affixed to them. Such valuable items (letters, photos, small electronic devices, USBs, T-shirts, etc., noting that big objects must be avoided) will revive memories of the good old days when the graduates open the time capsule 10 years later, on June 22, 2034. A memorable activity not to be missed!

4. Post-Rehearsal Gathering

Following the conclusion of rehearsals, we welcome all participants to join us for a casual Post-Rehearsal Gathering filled with joy and cherished moments. It is a chance to mingle and share in the excitement of preparing for the big day.

Ceremony Instructions

While this ceremony will fire up all attendees with enthusiasm and enkindle joy in their hearts, it must not be forgotten that the Commencement is a dignified event that should inspire respect and ethical behaviors.

Instructions for Graduates

  • The graduates’ expected arrival time at the Hadat–Baabda campus is between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.
  • Caps and gowns should be worn with pride at the time of arrival.

  • Male graduates are requested to wear black slack pants with a white buttoned shirt, a tie under the gown, and dark shoes and socks.
  • Professional photographers will be available to take pictures of each candidate before and during the ceremony.
  • Candidates should join the groups they belong to at the specified location by 6:45 PM.
  • Candidates must assemble according to their assigned numbers and await instructions from the person in charge.
  • The procession will start at 7:15 PM sharp. Graduates should remain lined up in a single file and respect the social distancing measures at all times.
  • Graduates are expected to memorize the number that was allocated to them, as all seats will be numbered for better organization.
  • Candidates are required to remain standing once they reach their seats until they are told to sit.
  • The ceremony will begin at 7:30 PM sharp.
  • All mobile phones should be turned off.
  • At the time of conferring degrees, the person calling out the names will make an introductory statement, after which the first row of candidates shall move in the right direction as per instructions. • Students will first form an orderly queue and then move to a designated stopping point. Once their names are called, they should walk towards the podium to receive their diploma covers. Attendees should avoid shaking hands and make sure to have their photos taken. They are then expected to return to their seats and keep seated.
