Born in 1960, Father Rajeh joined the Antonine Maronite Order (O.A.M.) in 1978, was ordained a priest in 1985, and promoted by the Maronite Patriarch to the rank of Abbot in 2013. He was Vicar General of the Antonine Maronite Order from 2011 to 2017.
Abbot Rajeh holds a Ph.D. in Canon Law from the Pontifical Lateran University, a Bachelor of Civil Law from the Lebanese University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theology from Saint Thomas Aquinas University in Rome.
He taught canon law at the Université Antonine from 2002 to 2012, and currently serves as the Superior of the Convent of Saint Elie in Antelias, judge at the Maronite and Armenian Courts of Appeal, and Professor at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Université La Sagesse.
He is the author of numerous works on patrimonial rights, marriage and matrimonial obligations, religious courts as well as on the Antonine Maronite Order (O.A.M.) and on the history of its myriad convents.
