FUCE Scholarship Mobility Programme 2024–25

The European Federation of Catholic Universities (FUCE) is launching its mobility program exclusively for students registered at universities in Albania, Georgia, Lebanon, and Ukraine, as well as Pontifical universities from the Vatican, which are members of the FUCE.

Conditions

  • Number of scholarships: 10  
  • Duration of the stay: one semester (4 to 6 months)
  • Amount: €2,500 to cover the cost of living and travel expenses
  • The student remains enrolled in the sending institution and will be considered as a student in mobility (similar to an ERASMUS student) by the host university. This means there will be no fee and access to libraries, etc.
  • The sending institution will need to award full recognition of the studies completed by the student at the host institution.
  • The host university must be a member of the FUCE.
  • Successful candidates can only avail of this scholarship program once.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be students at Albanian, Georgian, Lebanese, or Ukrainian FUCE universities or at Pontifical universities in the Vatican that are members of the FUCE. They should also be registered in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Applicants must have a curriculum linked to ethics, theology, philosophy, or other disciplines that integrate the Social Teaching of the Church in some way.
  • For students at Albanian, Georgian, Lebanese, or Ukrainian FUCE universities, applicants must be citizens of Albania, Georgia, Lebanon, or Ukraine.
  • For undergraduate applicants, they must have successfully completed the first year of their studies.
  • Applicants must have a good academic record.
  • Applicants must have a good command of the language of instruction for the courses they intend to take.
  • Applicants must not have already received or currently be receiving any other financial mobility grants.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they possess the personal qualities necessary to benefit from the mobility grant and use it to succeed in their chosen career.
