    29 November 2018

On November 29 and 30, 2018, the Center for Early Music of the Faculty of Music and Musicology (FMM) at Antonine University co-organized the second meeting of the International Research Network "Epistémuse" seminar, consisting of French-speaking musicologists, in partnership with the French Research Centre of Ethnomusicology (CREM), and with the support of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the Institut Français du Liban. This scientific event brought together French, Lebanese, Tunisian, Canadian, Swiss, and American researchers of international repute.
During this conference, papers were written on various topics such as the lineage of female French-speaking musicologists, French-speaking musicographers, religious French-speaking musicologists from the Middle East, and French-speaking musicologists from the Maghreb. These works will be published in the Revue des traditions musicales published by UA’s Publishing House and Geuthner (Paris).
