In a significant step toward advancing dental education and professional development, the Lebanese Society of Prosthodontics (LSP) and the Department of Dental Laboratory Technology (DDLT) at the Antonine University (UA) Faculty of Public Health (FPH) joined forces to organize a groundbreaking conference. The event, titled “The New Concept in Implant Rehabilitation,” took place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at UA’s Hadat–Baabda Campus.

Renowned dental expert, Prof. Hani Tohme, delivered a captivating presentation at the conference, which attracted a wide audience of dental professionals, dental lab experts, and students. With over 180 dental professionals from Lebanon in attendance, the event provided a valuable platform for meaningful exchanges of knowledge and ideas.

The primary objective of the conference was to share expertise, unveil innovative techniques, and explore the latest advancements in digital dentistry concerning full mouth rehabilitation over implants. Prof. Tohme, recognized for his groundbreaking work in the field, shed light on new concepts and approaches that can revolutionize implant rehabilitation.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the LSP and UA served as a crucial catalyst for this collaborative event. By combining their resources and expertise, these esteemed entities aimed not only to enhance current dental practices but also to inspire the next generation of dental professionals.

Furthermore, the success of this conference was greatly facilitated by the generous support, commitment, and contribution of Prodent, the event’s sponsor.
