As part of its commitment to promoting excellence, integrity, and professionalism in dental education and advancing the field of prosthodontics in Lebanon, Antonine University (UA), represented by its Rector, Fr. Michel Jalakh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Lebanese Society of Prosthodontics, represented by its President, Dr. Pierre El Khoury. This agreement aims at providing several educational activities that meet the highest standards for UA students, prosthodontists, and the entire Lebanese dental community.

The signing ceremony took place on UA’s Hadat–Baabda Campus in the presence of its Secretary General (SG), Fr. Ziad Maatouk; the Vice Rector for Integral Human Development (VRIHD), Fr. Jean Al Alam; the Chaplain, Fr. Charbel Bou Abboud; the Head of the Department of Dental Laboratory Technology (DDLT), Ms. Maya Nohra; and the DDLT’s Event Coordinator, Mr. Rodny Abdallah. It was also attended by the President of the Lebanese Dental Association (LDA), Prof. Ronald Younes, the Ambassador of Digital Dentistry Society, Prof. Ziad Salameh, and board members of UA’s DDLT and the Lebanese Society of Prosthodontics.

This MOU represents an important step forward in the development of the dental community in Lebanon, and UA is proud to be a part of this effort.
