    Appointment of Ms. Lynda Achkouty as Representative of Full-time Faculty Members at the UA Council

    We are delighted to announce the election of Ms. Lynda Achkouty as the Representative of Full-time Faculty Members at the Antonine University (UA) Council for the academic year 2023–24, following a voting process by full-time instructors from all faculties.

    Ms. Achkouty holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Professional Master’s degree in Finance from the Lebanese University (LU), as well as a Research Master’s degree in Management Sciences from LU in cooperation with Pierre-Mendes France Grenoble II and Aix-Marseille universities. She is currently finalizing her PhD thesis, which she will defend soon.

    Ms. Achkouty joined UA in 2020 as a dedicated full-time instructor at the Antonine School of Business (ASB) and the Faculty of Engineering (FOE). In her role, she coordinates and teaches entrepreneurship and innovation courses. Her greatest passion lies in supporting and empowering entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in their growth. As a certified business coach, she has conducted numerous training sessions in collaboration with local and regional organizations. Ms. Achkouty is actively engaged in promoting gender equality and is also involved in social and green entrepreneurship. Her life motto is “View every problem as an opportunity.”

    UA places great importance on maintaining this seat in its Council as it values the active contribution of faculty members to the institution’s governance, recognizing that their responsibilities extend beyond teaching and research.
