    06 December 2023

In a remarkable achievement, Josiane Ibrahim, a student enrolled in the Antonine School of Business (ASB), was chosen by the “Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie” (AUF) to participate in the “Congrès de la jeunesse estudiantine francophone” during the third edition of the “Semaine mondiale de la Francophonie scientifique” (SMFS) held in Quebec, Canada, from October 30 to November 3, 2023.

Josiane’s selection was based on a project submitted by the UA Green Club as part of its affiliation with the AUF. The project showcased the Club’s commitment to environmental issues and sustainability.

During her trip to Canada, Josiane had an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only was she captivated by the beauty of the surroundings, but she also had the opportunity to engage and collaborate with fellow students from diverse countries, all united in discussing environmental concerns and strategies for preservation.

Presenting the UA Green Club’s project at the conference was a delight for Josiane. It allowed her to refine her presentation skills and establish connections with like-minded individuals. This overall experience emphasized the importance of active participation in such activities and encouraged students to join university clubs.

Josiane strongly believes that students should not only attend university but actively engage in its club activities, as these experiences contribute to personal and professional growth and may open doors to different opportunities.

We hope that Josiane’s participation in this international conference will inspire other students to pursue their passions and actively contribute to making a difference in the world.
