As part of the development of its international partnerships, Antonine University (UA) has established a new cooperation agreement with the Specialized Administration and Management Institute of La Francophonie (ESFAM), an institute of the University Agency of La Francophonie (AUF). Mr. Nicolas Mainetti, Director of the ESFAM, visited UA on February 6, 2023, and signed a cooperation agreement with Fr. Michel Jalakh, UA’s Rector, in the presence of Mr. Jean-Noel Baleo, Regional Director of the AUF in the Middle East, and Ms. Cynthia Raad, Deputy Regional Director, on behalf of the AUF, and Fr. Ziad Maatouk, Secretary General and Vice Rector for Administration, Prof. Rony Darazi, Vice Rector of Cooperation and Internationalization, and Prof. Tony Gibeily, Dean of the Antonine School of Business (ASB), on behalf of UA.

This agreement aims to foster student, instructor, and internship exchanges between the two institutions, as well as to provide master's students at the ASB with the opportunity to complete their second year of study at ESFAM in Sofia, Bulgaria, in an international and intercultural environment. In particular, the master’s courses offered at ESFAM are relocated by the HEC of the University of Liège (Management of Sustainable Innovation and Digitalization), the IAE of the University of Corsica (Management of SMEs and Tourist Areas), the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne (International Transport), or the University of Paris-Pantheon-Assas (Supply Chain Management), and the IAE of the University of Nantes with the Master in Dual Competence Management which is also accessible to students holding a master's degree in other specialties such as engineering, public health, information and communication, and sport sciences.
