UA Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility at Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) | Antonine University

  • UA Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility at Université Côte d’Azur (UCA)

    21 July 2022

As the learning and teaching landscapes are constantly evolving, faculty members are expected to dive deeper into the world of digital transformation and reconsider the concepts of knowledge communication and dissemination in light of the accelerating trend toward digitalization. For this reason, and in the framework of the interinstitutional agreement between Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) and Antonine University, UA academic staff have actively participated in the “Digital Week” organized at the UCA from June 27 to July 1, 2022, supported by the International Credit Mobility (ICM) program of Erasmus+.

Digital Week’s main focus was on Digitalization in Higher Education, where experts from industry, startups, and universities gave keynote sessions on the online education experience, metaverse and education, digital skills, active learning, tourism, and digital innovation.

Parallel to the round table discussions, workshop sessions were conducted and centered around inclusive learning, hybrid and active game challenges, digital soft skills and open badges, and a VR game session. In addition, a special session for cooperation project presentations was dedicated to showcasing projects on cultural and creative industries, as well as digital innovation.

Furthermore, this mobility was an opportunity to meet with UA students: Mr. Charles Sader from the Antonine School of Business (ASB) and Ms. Magalie El Helou from the Faculty of Sport Sciences (FSS), who were undergoing study mobility at UCA, and a chance to reconnect with UA alumni from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Dr. Maria El Bacha and Eng. Simon Semaan.
