Within the framework of the Women's Empowerment for LEADership and Equity in Higher Education Institutions (WE4LEAD) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union (EU), Antonine University (UA) was a key participant in the project’s kick-off meeting that took place in Marseille, France, from March 27 to 29, 2023.

Represented by Prof. Rony Darazi, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Internationalization (VRCI), and Dr. Huguette Abou Mrad, Director of the Language Center (LC), UA was actively involved in the discussions on the coordination and management of the project, as well as the program of planned activities among the partners.

WE4LEAD, which is coordinated by Aix-Marseille University, involves several partner universities from Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Lebanon, and Algeria. This project is a testament to UA’s commitment to the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals and its social responsibility, particularly in the implementation of its Policy for the respect and promotion of gender equality.
