    In line with the international development process of Antonine University (UA), aimed at expanding its activities beyond national borders and embracing a global dimension, the UA Rector, Fr. Michel Jalakh, the Secretary General and Vice Rector for Administration, Fr. Ziad Maatouk, and the Vice Rector for Integral Human Development, Fr. Jean Al Alam, welcomed Mr. Patrick Scauflaire, President-Rector of the Lille Catholic University. Mr. Scauflaire led a delegation comprising Ms. Anne Marie Michel, Director of International Relations, Mr. Farouk Allouche, Assessor of the Dean for International Relations at the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Sciences (FGES), and Mrs. Florence Malaise, Director of International Relations of the Grande École of Engineering JUNIA.

    The UA Rector and the President-Rector of the Lille Catholic University formally signed an institutional agreement and double degree endorsements, which aim to promote exchanges of students, faculty, and staff between both institutions. This signing took place in the presence of Dr. Chady Abou Jaoude, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Kabalan Chaccour, Head of the Department of Computer and Communications Engineering, representing UA, as well as Ms. Agnes de Geoffroy, Attaché for Academic and Scientific Cooperation at the French Embassy in Lebanon.
