The Transfer of Authority and Handover ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Seeds Monastery, on the Antonine University (UA) Hadat–Baabda Main Campus, between the former UA Rector, Father Michel Jalakh, and the new Rector, Father Michel Saghbiny.

Based on the new Rector’s suggestion, the Superior General, Abbot Joseph Bou Raad, appointed the following: Father Ziad Maatouk as the Secretary General of the University, Father Chukri El Khoury as the Bursar, Father Raymond El Hachem as the Director of the Nabi Ayla–Zahle Campus, and Father Majed Maroun as the Director of the Mejdlaya–Zgharta Campus.

The University’s Administration announced that its new Rector will receive well-wishers at UA’s Hadat–Baabda Main Campus on Thursday and Friday dated August 24 and 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and then from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
