The Erasmus+ program implements three key actions:

- Stakeholder dialogue and program and policy advocacy.
Capacity Building Projects
Capacity Building Projects in the field of Higher Education (CBHE) are part of the Key Action 2 of the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Commission.
The Antonine University (UA) has been actively involved in CBHE projects since 2016:
- DEMOS (Democratic Governance and Human Rights)
Duration: 3 years (2020-2022)
DEMOS aims to develop a two-year multidisciplinary Master Program in Democratic Governance and Human Rights, including online distance and on-campus learning, which will combine theoretical approaches and project-based learning to complete a project with the broad use of online learning tools.

- MEDIaH (MEDiterranean countries: towards Internationalisation at Home)
Duration: 3 years (2020-2022)
MEDIaH aims to outline the Higher Education Institutions (HEI) internationalization policies and to identify levels of integration of international and intercultural dimensions into the formal and informal curriculum. The project revolves around the concept of IaH that shifts institutions’ focus of attention from outbound mobility to virtual mobility and on-campus intercultural engagement to non-mobile students’ global competence and employability.

- TLQAA+ (Program Evaluation for Transparency and Recognition of Skills and Qualifications)
Duration: 3 years (2016-2019)
TLQAA+ aims to respond to major and urgent needs in the Lebanese Higher Education (LHE) related to the use of internal and external programmatic Quality Assurance (QA) for better recognition of skills and competences. Moreover, the project aims to build more capacity by training QA experts and reviewers, building courses and NQF, and developing dialogue between Higher Education (HE) and the labor market. It will test the built components in a real pilot evaluation whose outcomes and findings shall be of profit to the whole LHE sector and beyond.
The project will contribute to the emergence of more integrated academic communities of universities cooperating to improve the quality and relevance in the LHE system. http://plus.tlqaa.org/
- MERIC-Net (Mediterranean Network of National Information Centres on the Recognition of Qualifications)
Duration: 3 years (2016-2019)
The MERIC-Net project's objective is to revitalize the MERIC network (Mediterranean Recognition Information Centres) to increase the recognition of qualifications within the Mediterranean Region, and to raise the quality of vertical and horizontal mobility in the higher education systems of the involved countries.
The project partners intend to improve the competencies and skills of credential evaluators defining common practices and realizing common tools among European and South Mediterranean countries, national bodies, and HE institutions, starting from the experience of European higher education institutions and practices adopted by the ENIC-NARIC centers. http://www.meric-net.eu/en/index.aspx
- EuNIT (European project design and management In the South Mediterranean region)
Duration: 2016-2019, 3 years
The objective of the EuNIT project is to implement EU project design and management units in the involved partner universities. That will contribute to the internationalization of HE institutions in Jordan, Lebanon, and Libya, to develop sustainable international and regional partnerships. By doing so, it will encourage the creation of networks that enables the HE institutions to exchange good practices in EU project design and management units as well as to forge south-south collaboration. Consequently, the project will contribute to the modernization and development of systems of HEIs in the partner countries and the region.
This project involves 16 partners and 6 associated partners from Croatia, France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, and Spain.

ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Master Programme (ERASMUS+ EMJMD)
Also part of the Key Action 1 of the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union. An EMJMD is a high-level integrated international study program of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits, delivered by an international consortium of HE institutions from different countries.
- MIR (Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics)
Duration: 2 years (2020-2021)
The MIR Master program innovatively combines robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of advancing marine and maritime science and its technological applications. It aims at building the capacity to enable advances in far-reaching sea exploration, autonomous and deep-sea robots, teleoperations, and the use of AI in these endeavours.
The MIR Masters provides training in state of the art applied robotics targeted at enhancing the efficiency, health, and safety as well as the environmental performance of the offshore industry and maritime operations.

International Credit Mobility (ERASMUS+ ICM)
ICM is part of the Key Action 1 of the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union. It supports the mobility of individuals enrolled or employed at an HE institute, from a program Country to a Partner Country or vice versa.
