The Language Center (LC) at Antonine University (UA) offers various language courses which help students study, practice, and develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in any language of their choosing.

The courses taught by highly qualified instructors are adapted to the language proficiency levels of the learners. Students enrolled in one of our programs must complete the required remedial courses if needed.

• Italian Courses
  The Italian Language course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of Italian and helps them develop effective communication by improving the following four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will be able, at the end of this level, to engage in intercultural dialogue with simple, clear, and understandable terms and write short but useful paragraphs.
• German Courses
  The German language course is designed to allow students to express themselves in German about their daily life and create social bonds with other cultures.
• Spanish Courses
  The Spanish Language course is designed to allow students to develop the four linguistic skills essential to master any language.
• Chinese Courses
  The Chinese Language course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, the official language of one of the world’s largest and most powerful economies, China. Its objective is to enhance the learner’s communication skills, with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Beginners will get a grasp on Chinese pinyin (spelling with tone), Chinese grammar, commonly used sentence structures, simple but practical situational dialogues, and Chinese culture.
