Why do some habits stick while others fail? How can we rewire our brains to break bad habits and build positive, lasting behaviors?
The Vice Rectorate for Integral Human Development at Antonine University (UA) is organizing a science-backed workshop that will dive into the neuroscience and psychology of habit formation, offering practical tools to help you take control of your daily routines and achieve long-term success.
You will explore how habits are formed in the brain — focusing on the role of the basal ganglia, dopamine, and neuroplasticity — and learn strategies to override automatic behaviors that don’t serve you. We’ll break down the Habit Loop (Cue - Routine - Reward) and uncover the mental and environmental triggers that shape our actions.
