In line with its ongoing mission to guide students toward a purposeful academic future, the Office of Orientation and Admissions (OOA) at Antonine University (UA) embarked on an enriching outreach journey to Doha, Qatar.

This initiative comes within UA’s firm commitment to supporting Lebanese and international students residing abroad, helping them navigate their educational paths with confidence and clarity.

Throughout the visit, Mr. Ryan Abboudy, OOA Director, and Ms. Rita Tannous, Orientation and Admissions Officer, met with students and parents eager to explore higher education opportunities in Lebanon. Many expressed their enthusiasm upon discovering the breadth of UA’s academic programs and student services — with some even sharing their heartfelt intent to return to Lebanon to pursue their university studies.

The OOA team presented UA’s diverse programs, scholarship opportunities, and student-centered services, highlighting the University’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Over the course of three days, the delegation conducted school visits and orientation sessions at several renowned institutions, including Global Academy International School, Lycée Bonaparte, the Lebanese School of Qatar, Heritage International Academy, Qatar International School, the Arab International Academy (AIA), the International School of Choueifat (SABIS), Beverly Hills International School, and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire.

During these visits, the OOA team engaged with school counselors and headmasters, exchanging valuable insights and sharing tokens of gratitude as a gesture of appreciation for their continued support in guiding students toward academic success.

The visit also included a stop at Qatar University (QU), where the team toured the campus and met with the Admissions Department to exchange insights on admission cycles, application procedures, and best practices— strengthening mutual understanding and enhancing international relations.

In addition, several business dinners brought together educators and professionals, creating meaningful opportunities for dialogue, exchange, and collaboration.

Through this fruitful mission, the Office of Orientation and Admissions reaffirmed UA’s role as a bridge between cultures and communities — empowering students to dream, explore, and pursue excellence wherever they are.
