Echoes of Hope: Music Therapy to Heal and Rebuild Well-being in Crisis

Healing the Invisible Wounds: Path to Hope in Times of War

Part of the UA Plus Program

As an institution, Antonine University (UA) is committed to enhancing the sustainable well-being of our local and global communities. We recognize that providing mental health support is a vital component of community resilience.

In this spirit, UA’s Vice Rectorate for Integral Human Development has launched a series of wellness sessions under the theme Healing the Invisible Wounds: Path to Hope in Times of War. This initiative addresses the unique psychological impacts of war, offering both theoretical insights and practical strategies designed to help individuals cope with trauma and foster resilience.

This fifth session, Echoes of Hope: Music Therapy to Heal and Rebuild Well-being in Crisis, offers attendees with therapeutic tools and techniques through music therapy to enhance emotional resilience and foster a sense of inner peace during challenging times. Participants will engage in rhythm exercises, vocal toning, and mindful music listening — activities designed to release tension, promote self-expression, and build a supportive community. We will explore how music can provide comfort, stability, and healing, even amidst the trials of war.
