As an institution, Antonine University (UA) is committed to enhancing the sustainable well-being of our local and global communities. We recognize that providing mental health support is a vital component of community resilience.
In this spirit, UA’s Vice Rectorate for Integral Human Development has launched a series of wellness sessions under the theme Healing the Invisible Wounds: Path to Hope in Times of War. This initiative addresses the unique psychological impacts of war, offering both theoretical insights and practical strategies designed to help individuals cope with trauma and foster resilience.
In this third session, titled How to Be Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically Resilient Amidst Uncertainty, participants will learn practical tips for maintaining focus on their studies despite adversity. Strategies will include mindfulness exercises to calm down and the importance of physical activity. The session will emphasize the inherent resilience within each individual, the significance of perseverance, and the importance of seeking help if experiencing dark thoughts or suicidal ideation.
