    Rahmé Rayshouny from UA Wins the Prize for "Best Female Leading Role" in Cairo

    Congratulations to Rahmé Rayshouny from the Antonine University Drama Club named "Masra7jiyé," for winning the prize for "Best Female Leading Role" after her performance in the play “Picnic ع خطوط التماس” (Picnic on the Demarcation Line). The play was written by the dramatist Raymond Gebara, and presented under the direction of the actor, director, and teacher at UA, Michel Hourany, during the first International Meeting of University Theater held in Cairo from 1 to 7 October 2018.
    This is the second prize that the club receives after the First prize for "Best Scenography" won at the Festival of Theatre in Lebanon.
    Directed by Michel Hourany, the group was composed of Rahmé Rayshouny, Najib Rizk, Joe Kazzi, Rashad Nasreddine, Bassam Wehbe, and Samar Azzam. Cynthia Tannous and Iman Malli formed a technical team to give them the needed assistance.
