Program Objectives

The graduate program in Journalism and Radio/TV caters to the needs of experienced journalists and to people willing to equip themselves with skills that permit them to enter the field of journalism. The program aims at developing students’ knowledge and competencies as professionals capable of mastering a communication project from the strategy to the realization of all kinds of products related to the world of traditional, web, and digital multimedia.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Master's degree in Information and Communication, the student should be a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication, Social Sciences, Humanities, Graphic Design, or Advertising.

 

Teaching Methods

Based on hands-on activities along with theoretical courses, the main teaching methodologies in the Master’s degree are:

Evaluation Process

Based on the type of courses if theoretical or hands-on, we always refer to the course learning outcomes for evaluation according to the following:

  • Decode regulations and jurisprudence in TIC, cybercrime, cyber-attacks, and cybercrimes
  • Develop a communication strategy for public, private, national or international agencies
  • during normal situations or a crisis considering social, cultural, and political factors
  • Communicate professionally in a team respecting the principles of listening and ethics
  • Produce research or a scientific document based on pre-established research, respecting the stages of a scientific study, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Produce an advanced investigation according to modern international standards
  • Edit various types of written, audio, visual and electronic journalism and locate them on various new and traditional media
  • Design an integrated media management strategy for new and traditional media sites
