Wireless Configuration

The Antonine University (UA) offers a unified wireless connection over its three campuses, Hadat–Baabda Campus, Nabi Ayla–Zahle Campus, and Mejdlaya–Zgharta Campus. Students, staff, faculty members, upper management, and guests can benefit from the wireless connection.

For students:

To get wireless connection you must:

  • register in the corresponding semester; and
  • pass by the Office of Information Technology to set your new password, this password will also be used for the university's email.


To configure UA Wi-Fi on the mobile or laptop, you must:

  • go to Wi-Fi settings choose “UA” SSID;
  • insert your username (ID); and
  • insert the password – previously set – in the Office of Information Technology.


For faculty members, staff, and upper management:

To get wireless connection:

  • the Office of Human Resources requests to create a profile for the corresponding person before giving you access; and
  • then you must pass by the Office of Information Technology to set your new password, this password will be used to login to your workstation.

 

To configure UA Wi-Fi on the mobile or laptop, you must:

  • go to WIFI settings;
  • choose “UA” SSID;
  • insert your username; and
  • insert the password – previously set – in the Office of Information Technology.


For visitors and guests:

UA’s visitors and guests will receive a username and password to access UA Wi-Fi. The inviting office or department will provide these credentials. To configure UA Wi-Fi on the mobile or laptop, the guest must go to Wi-Fi settings, choose “UA-Guest” SSID, and insert the credentials provided.
