  • MOU Signing between UA and Dubois Industries

    On June 9, 2021, Antonine University (UA) – Lebanon, represented by its Rector Reverend Father Michel Jalakh, and Dubois Industries – France, represented by its President and CEO Mr. Pascal Moukarzel, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a funded internship project with the Department of Audiovisual Studies at the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC).

    This MOU will result in the creation of three promotional videos by students from the aforementioned Department at UA for a state-of-the-art electronic door handle product called BI-CODE produced lately by Dubois Industries.

    The signing ceremony took place virtually between the office of the Rector located at the UA main campus in Hadat – Baabda, Lebanon and the office of Mr. Moukarzel located in France. Were also present at the ceremony at UA, the Secretary General and Vice-Rector for Administration, Father Ziad Maatouk, the Dean of the FIC, Dr. Dalal Moukarzel, the Head of the Department of Audiovisual Studies, Ms. Rana Gebran, and the two concerned third-year students, Mr. Halim Kassouf and Mr. Hadi Fatayri; while Ms. Florence Moukarzel was present at the President’s office in France.

    The Faculty of Information and Communication trusts that such partnership is a great opportunity for its students, and can open up doors for more international internships.
