The Antonine Learning Lab (ALL) was pleased to welcome Dr. Rawad Chaker, Assistant Professor and holder of an HDR (Habilitation to Supervise Research) in Educational Sciences and Training at Université Lumière Lyon 2, on October 27 and 28, 2025.

The first day was devoted to exchanges concerning the services and plans implemented by the Antonine Learning Lab, with notable appreciation expressed for the initiatives deployed since 2023. The discussions, both substantive and constructive, helped chart the future development of the Learning Lab and define the actions to be undertaken in order to closely accompany instructors in their pedagogical innovation endeavors.

The second day, held within the Learning Lab’s physical space, took the form of a training session dedicated to the transformation of competencies and professions in the age of artificial intelligence. Participating instructors engaged in thorough exchanges on the evolution of professional requirements and on the pedagogical approaches to be adopted in order to better support students in acquiring new competencies, or in adapting existing skills to emerging needs, without compromising the integrity of fundamental competencies.

This initiative encourages the integration of emerging technologies in service of integral human development and innovation in higher education, thereby contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.

The Antonine Learning Lab thus remains a space for experimentation, collaboration, and pedagogical innovation, striving to render the students’ learning experience ever more enriching and engaging.
