  • Christmas Design Exhibition Celebrates FIC Students’ Creativity and Talent

    17 December 2025

The Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC) at Antonine University (UA) hosted a “Christmas Design Exhibition” on December 11, 2025, placing the spotlight on the creative works produced by students of the Department of Graphic Design (DGD).

The Faculty’s corridor was transformed into a vibrant gallery that brought together academic rigor, artistic exploration, and festive spirit. The exhibition featured a diverse selection of projects developed throughout the academic year, including movie posters, advertising concepts, product and brand campaigns, illustrations, paintings, visual arts works, and experimental graphic compositions.

Set to the sound of Christmas music, the exhibition offered an inviting space where visitors experienced the diversity of visual languages, concepts, and storytelling approaches explored within the DGD. Parents, friends, students, and members of the UA community were invited to discover the students’ work firsthand and engage with the creative processes behind each project.

A special moment of the evening was dedicated to recognizing excellence. Awards were presented in two categories: Academic Excellence and Non-academic Recognition. The Academic Excellence Awards honored the top three students from each academic year in acknowledgment of their outstanding achievements. For the first year, the recipients were Elio Daou (first place), Mohamad Shbaro (second place), and Joseph Beyrouthy (third place). For the second year, the awards were presented to Ghadi Abou Faraj (first place), Marie Jean Boueiz (second place), and Tala Najem (third place). For the third year, the recipients were Helena Karam (first place), Christa Maria Gerges Semaan (second place), and Charbel Matta (third place).

Additional distinctions were also presented to students who demonstrated remarkable personal qualities, underscoring the FIC’s commitment to valuing both creative skill and character development.

Beyond showcasing projects, the exhibition stood as a moment of pride and encouragement for students, affirming their progress and dedication within a professional and supportive environment, and reinforcing UA’s commitment to student-centered learning, artistic expression, and the celebration of talent as a cornerstone of academic life.
