Father Abbot Joseph Bou Raad has been elected as the new Superior General of the Antonine Maronite Order (OAM), succeeding Abbot Maroun Abou Jaoude. Fathers Boutros Azar, Michel Khoury, Bechara Elia, and Ibrahim Bou Rajel have been elected as Assistants, for a mandate of 6 years.

The Antonine University (UA) family, while expressing gratitude to the former Supreme Council for its dedicated service to the University through its leadership and membership on the Board of Trustees, extends heartfelt congratulations to the new Supreme Council and wishes its members — the Superior General, UA’s chancellor, and the Assistants, esteemed members of the Board of Trustees — success and prosperity in the tasks entrusted to them, both within the Order and at UA.
