Antonine University (UA) recently hosted a dynamic scientific week under the theme of « Faites » du sport, from May 8 to 12, 2023. This event, organized by the Faculty of Sports Sciences (FSS), aimed to promote physical education and sports while providing a platform for professionals in the field to connect, exchange expertise, and foster collaboration. Held on UA’s Hadat–Baabda Campus, the gathering also offered a valuable opportunity for participants and FSS students to engage and expand their networks within and beyond the Faculty.

Eighteen distinguished speakers from both Europe and Lebanon contributed to the event through compelling oral presentations and engaging workshops. The program featured an array of thought-provoking sessions, including social inclusion, educational experiences, and groundbreaking research related to innovative technologies in sports sciences, health, and outdoor activities. Notably, this week emphasized the importance of inclusivity in creating an environment where individuals from all backgrounds and abilities can participate and thrive in sports activities.

All in all, « Faites » du sport was a resounding success, providing valuable insights and knowledge to all those who attended. UA is proud to continue promoting physical education and sports, as well as fostering collaboration and inclusivity within its community and beyond.
