  • UA Open Day 2025: A Celebration of Potential Across Campuses

    16 May 2025

Antonine University (UA) has successfully wrapped up its annual Open Day 2025, organized by the Office of Orientation and Admissions (OOA). The event welcomed over 5000 participant, including prospective students, parents, and around 100 school delegations across its three campuses: Hadat–Baabda, Mejdlaya–Zgharta, and Nabi Ayla–Zahle. Held on April 11, May 6, and May 7 respectively, each edition provided an immersive and inspiring experience, allowing participants to explore academic opportunities, interact with faculty and students, and discover the vibrant life that defines the UA community.

    A Comprehensive Introduction to UA

Under the theme “Uncover the Gem, Begin Your Next Story,” this year’s Open Day series served as a platform for high school students to take the first step toward shaping their academic and professional future. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about UA’s wide range of undergraduate programs, international partnerships, student support services, and financial aid and scholarship options. From one-on-one advising sessions to interactive workshops and live course observations, visitors engaged in meaningful ways with the academic and administrative fabric of the University.

Each campus was transformed into a dynamic hub of activity, with students welcomed at designated reception points before embarking on guided tours. Participants visited faculty booths, joined sample classes and lab demonstrations, and took part in department-led activities that showcased the real-world impact of each program.

    Engaging With the UA Community

Throughout the day, deans, department heads, faculty members, and student ambassadors were present to answer questions, offer guidance, and share insights into academic life at UA. The open and welcoming environment fostered genuine connections and gave prospective students a true sense of belonging within the University.

In addition to academic exploration, the Open Day featured booths for UA’s key student-facing offices and services, including the OOA, the Office of International Relations, the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Social Affairs, and the Center for Career Development. These touchpoints allowed students to understand the wide spectrum of opportunities and support available throughout their educational journey.

A Campus Experience Like No Other

As the day progressed, visitors also had the chance to enjoy the social and cultural sides of university life. The lively afternoon atmosphere featured music, food, and open-air gatherings that encouraged casual conversations and community building.

Whether it was the bustling corridors of Hadat–Baabda, the inviting space of Mejdlaya–Zgharta, or the scenic charm of Nabi Ayla–Zahle, the Open Day captured the essence of what it means to be part of the UA experience: academic excellence, human connection, and a strong foundation for personal growth.

    Looking Ahead

Antonine University extends its sincere thanks to the students, teachers, families, and school representatives who participated in the UA Open Day 2025. Their engagement and enthusiasm made the event not only a success but also a memorable experience for all involved.
