  • UA Signs an MOU With the British Council for IELTS Administration

    Antonine University (UA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the British Council, further strengthening its role as an accredited center for administering the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at the Hadat–Baabda Campus. This partnership expands the University’s network of official collaborators and reinforces its standing among institutions authorized to offer this internationally recognized certification.

     

    Accredited Test Center Delivering a High-quality Experience

    Through this agreement, UA ensures that candidates benefit from a testing experience that meets international standards, supported by professional supervision and reliable logistical arrangements.

    Recognized by thousands of universities, employers, and organizations worldwide, the IELTS test is a decisive step for individuals seeking to pursue studies abroad, access mobility opportunities, or advance their international career prospects.

     

    High-level Institutional Signing

    The agreement was signed by Rev. Fr. Michel Saghbiny, Rector of UA; Mr. Amir Ramzan, Regional Director of the British Council for the MENA region; and Ms. Mayssa Dawi, Director of the British Council in Lebanon.

     

    From UA, the ceremony was attended by Rev. Fr. Ziad Maatouk, Secretary General and Vice Rector for Administration; Dr. Huguette Abou-Mrad, Director of the Language Center (LC); Ms. Tatiana Fadlallah, Coordinator of the LC’s English Department; Ms. Suzanne Feghali, Administrative Assistant at the LC; and Ms. Jocelyn Saab, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and English Instructor at the LC, who delivered an institutional presentation outlining UA’s mission, values, and strategic initiatives.

     

    A delegation from the British Council also took part in the event, represented by Mr. Khalil Hijal, Mr. Joe Bartah, Mr. Nadim Eid, Mr. Roy Fawaz, and Ms. Marwa Tabesh.
