Antonine University (UA) has signed a new agreement with Abu Dhabi University (ADU) to foster academic collaboration and strengthen international ties. The agreement, concluded during a visit of UA’s delegation to ADU on September 29, lays the foundation for student exchange between the two institutions.
This milestone marks the first step in a broader collaboration that will soon expand to cover research initiatives, faculty exchanges, joint conferences, and other academic events. By opening new opportunities for knowledge-sharing and cross-cultural experiences, the agreement reflects both universities’ shared commitment to enhancing global education and providing their students with enriching opportunities.
UA was represented by its Rector, Fr. Michel Saghbiny, alongside Fr. Ziad Maatouk, Secretary General and Vice Rector for Administration, and Prof. Roger Achkar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
From ADU, the meeting was led by Prof. Ghassan Aouad, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University, joined by Ms.Noor Al Masri, Associate Director of Marketing and Communication, and Ms. Khulud Abdallah, Executive Office Operations Manager. The signing ceremony was also attended by Dr. Dina Imad Joumblatt, Chair of the Department of Public Law.
This new partnership is a testament to UA’s ongoing efforts to build meaningful international connections that broaden the horizons of its community and contribute to the advancement of higher education.
