Antonine University (UA) has recently took part in two major academic events in Slovenia: the International Scientific Conference EM-HERI 2025, “Higher Education Systems in the Mediterranean: Comparative Analysis & Development Opportunities,” and the Erasmus+ Staff Week hosted in Piran by the Euro Mediterranean University (EMUNI).
Representing UA, Dr. Charbel Habib, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy at the Faculty of Public Health, actively contributed to discussions on the future of higher education in the Mediterranean. His participation in the Staff Week included workshops, academic lectures, and institutional visits, notably to the Science and Research Centre of Koper, where new avenues of collaboration were explored within the Master’s Programme in Kinesiology of Human Performance and the Doctoral Programme in Kinesiology for Quality of Life.
Through these initiatives, UA continues to strengthen its Euro-Mediterranean partnerships, enhance its academic offerings, and promote meaningful intercultural dialogue.
