On June 12, 2025, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) organized a dynamic educational visit to the Middle East Airlines (MEA) Training Center, offering students a unique look into the professional world of aviation.
This initiative, titled “Ready for Takeoff: Discover the World of MEA,” drew participation from a large group of students across various faculties, all eager to explore the inner workings of Lebanon’s flagship airline. Through a series of guided tours and live demonstrations, students had the opportunity to witness firsthand how MEA trains its cabin crew and pilots to uphold the highest standards of safety, service, and technical excellence.
The visit highlighted MEA’s operational structure, the complex responsibilities carried out by flight personnel, and the rich legacy of the airline as a national symbol. Students walked away with a deeper appreciation for the discipline, skill, and teamwork required to succeed in the aviation industry.
This enriching experience reinforced UA’s ongoing commitment to offering real-world exposure beyond the classroom, fostering curiosity and professional insight across disciplines.
