Full-time Faculty Position | Associate Professor

In line with its mission and values, centered on academic excellence and contextualized research, Antonine University (UA) invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the academic rank of Associate Professor for the 2026–27 academic year.

 

Teaching Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • hold a PhD in Information and Communication recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education;
  • have a minimum of seven years of teaching experience in their field of expertise, demonstrating strong academic and pedagogical competencies;
  • possess experience in supervising final-year projectsmaster’s theses, and/or doctoral dissertations;
  • demonstrate a clear commitment to quality assurance, including active participation in evaluation processes and the continuous improvement of teaching practices and study programs.

 

Research Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • hold or have previously held the academic rank of Associate Professor at a recognized higher education institution;
  • demonstrate structuredsignificant, and high-quality research output within a well-defined research area aligned with their field of expertise;
  • show the ability to initiatedevelop, and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects;
  • have contributed to and/or submitted research projects to national and/or international funding bodies.

 

Additional Qualifications

Candidates are expected to:

  • demonstrate innovation and adaptability in teaching methods and actively engage in the University’s community of practice;
  • contribute to UA’s strategic development through participation in committees, working groups, and institutional initiatives;
  • possess excellent communication skills and advanced proficiency in English and/or French, depending on academic requirements;
  • be willing to assume, in addition to teaching and research, academic and administrative responsibilities, in line with institutional needs;
  • work in full alignment with UA’s missionvision, and values.
