Full-time Faculty Positions

In line with its mission and values, which primarily revolve around academic excellence and contextualized research, Antonine University (UA) invites applications for full-time faculty positions for the 2026–27 academic year.

 

Teaching Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • hold a PhD in Computer and Communications Engineering or in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education;
  • have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in higher education, particularly in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Systems Engineering, Communications, and Programming, demonstrating strong academic and pedagogical competencies;
  • possess experience in supervising final-year projects, master’s theses, and PhD dissertations;
  • demonstrate a clear commitment to quality assurance, including active participation in evaluation processes and the continuous improvement of teaching practices and study programs.

 

Research Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • hold or have previously held an academic rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor at a recognized higher education institution;
  • demonstrate sustained research activity beyond the PhD, or present a clear research development trajectory in one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Communications, Software Development, and Programming;
  • show the ability to initiate, develop, and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects;
  • have contributed to and/or submitted research projects to national and/or international funding bodies.

 

Additional Qualifications

Candidates are expected to:

  • demonstrate innovation and adaptability in teaching methods and actively engage in the University’s community of practice;
  • contribute to UA’s strategic development through participation in committees, working groups, and institutional initiatives;
  • possess excellent communication skills and advanced proficiency in English and/or French, depending on academic requirements;
  • work in full alignment with UA’s mission, vision, and values.

  • any additional supporting documents (e.g., recommendation letters, academic references).
