Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Ziad Makary, Minister of Information in Lebanon, the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC) at Antonine University (UA) is pleased to organize a scientific day entitled Communication, Education, and Ethics Through the Prism of Artificial Intelligence. The objective of this meeting is to highlight the importance of the relationship between education and communication at the societal level, as well as to deepen topics related to artificial intelligence (AI). National and international speakers in the field of communication and education will join us to provide various sessions.
The digital world is expanding globally, and consumer societies are following suit without always understanding the stakes. This raises important questions: To what extent does initiation into the complex world of digital technology awaken critical thinking among young people, their educators, and their parents? In this context, can the debate take on a dimension beyond what is already known and enter the realm of ambiguous communication technology? Are we condemned to take a stand for or against this growing movement of AI or can we become actors in the field of education and academia? What legislative measures are necessary to respect individual freedoms and combat cybercrime? What ethical issues emerge from our interaction with AI at the citizen, national, and identity levels?
