Aim and Scope

The Arab Journal of Music Education Sciences (AJMES) is an annual refereed academic periodical, prepared by the Center for Research on Musical Traditions (CRTM). The Antonine University Press, in cooperation with Dar Al-Farabi, publishes this journal. It aims to develop scientific research in the field of music education sciences in the Arab world. The results of the research published in it are made available to researchers, experts, and educators concerned. One issue has been published since the founding of this journal in 2017.

  • Dr. Hayaf Yassine (Assistant Professor of Music and Musicology, Head of the Department of Arab Art Music and Dean’s Representant at North-Lebanon section of the FMM), Member of the AJMES Editorial Board;
  • Ms. Nathalie Abou Jaoude (PhD student Sorbonne Université, Doctoral co-supervision within the framework of CRTM), Copyeditor of the AJMES.
