In commemoration of the Lebanese Independence Day, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) is organizing a vibrant Lebanese Village aiming to explore the rich cultural heritage of Lebanon and bring our community together in a joyous celebration of our nation.
The village will be divided into 4 distinctive sections, each highlighting a unique aspect of Lebanon:
1. Taste of Lebanon: Step into a culinary haven where you can indulge in the delightful flavors of Lebanese cuisine, experience the “saj” selling area, and quench your thirst with “Bonjus,” Lebanon’s iconic Pyramid-shaped juice box.
2. Colors of Lebanon: Join hands in unity as we construct the Lebanese flag, print by print, in a collective fingerprint painting project. This vivid visual representation symbolizes the spirit of togetherness and solidarity that we all share.
3. Sound of Lebanon: Immerse yourself in the rich musical heritage of Lebanon. Our talented Music Club will entertain you with songs that capture the essence of our country’s history and traditions, taking you on a musical journey through time.
4. Products of Lebanon: Embrace the entrepreneurial talents of our students as they proudly showcase their unique products and small businesses. Approximately 15 student ventures will be on display, offering a wonderful opportunity to support local initiatives and foster a sense of community.
